2008 Emergency Responses / 911 Call Center Dispatches
In 2008, St. George Firefighters responded to a record high total of 7279 dispatches from the 911 Call Center. This was up 1.5% from the number of calls made in 2007.
The assistance we provided ranged from fighting fire, to rescue, to providing first response in medical emergencies, to extricating traffic accident victims and aiding EMS, to investigating and protecting the public from any number of potentially hazardous conditions.
