To all employees,
The SGFD OWA email system (External and Internal
Access) is back up. There are some changes to access it. First of all,
this system can be used by anyone with a SGFD email address and password,
secondly it is accessed through your internet explorer on any computer that
has internet access. Thirdly,
the address that you use to
access this is
http://mail.stgeorgefire.com/exchange it is the same for internal and
external and you will have to use your email address as the username (
username@stgeorgefire.com ) and your department issued password
s your password. I will soon be sending out envelopes for those new
employees to get their username and password.
We are experimenting with an
add-on to the SGFD OWA email system that allows you to look at the Public
Folders (Global Information) and open attachments. If it is cost-effective,
we will continue its use after the trial period. Please try it from your
home or in a station and let me know what you think.
