A Civil Service Test has been scheduled.  The test application period has expired.  However, if you submit an application along with the required documents listed below and a valid passing civil service test score by mid-February, you may be considered for our next Fire Academy.

Returned employment applications must have copies of birth certificate, social security card, high school diploma or GED certificate, and current drivers license (both sides) attached.  Failure to turn in these required documents when submitting your application could result in your application being rejected.

Successful Applicants Must:
        be at least 18 years of age
        be a citizen of the United States
        possess a valid high school diploma or GED certificate
        possess a valid drivers license and social security card
        pass the civil service exam
        pass the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education)
        pass a criminal background check
        pass a personal interview
        pass pre-employment medical, physical, and psychological evaluations
