Future Plans

Plans are being made for the deployment of a third ladder company.  The unit will be housed east of Airline Highway.

The five year, 1.5 mill ($15 per $100,000 value minus the Homestead Exemption) Capital Improvements Proposition which was first approved by the voters in 2002 was renewed on November 7, 2006.

The next five years will see the purchase of six new fire engines and the construction of a training, maintenance, and administrative facility and the acquisition of property for future fire station construction.
