The Administration Division is responsible for a variety of administrative services. There are various functioning areas within Administration, such as; Personnel Services, Accounting, Purchasing, Employment Application Processing and General Administrative Services.
Personnel Services is involved in every aspect of an employee's career, from the time they are first considered for hire until they separate or retire from the department. It is divided into the following functional areas:
Pre-Hire Applicant Processing- coordinates activities required in the processing of potential Firefighter/Operator applicants, including application verification, background checks, and pre-employment screening.
Human Resources-responsible for payroll administration, benefits coordination and administration and employee record management
Employee Services -manages Worker's Compensation claims, medical records and Retirement benefits
Responsible for accounts receivable/payable and purchasing
Responsible for the purchasing, receiving and inventorying of supplies and equipment. Coordinates the flow of supplies and equipment throughout the department.

Manages all activities associated with the employment application process in accordance with the Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service System
