Station 61

The original Station 61 was built in 1968.  The current station was built in 1982, and remodeled in 2002 to better accommodate full-time staffing.  Funding for the renovation was provided through the 1.5 mill Capital Improvements levy approved by the voters in 2002.

The station houses a 2007 Ferrara 1500 GPM Pumper Engine, a 2007 Ferrara 77' Ladder Truck, and a 2000 HME/Ferrara 1500 GPM Pumper Engine (reserve unit).  For information about scheduling station tours or truck visits from this station call Eldon Ledoux at 454-6573.  For a map showing the location of Station 61 click the following link:  map.
