Station 64
17575 Hoo Shoo Too Road

Station 64 is the latest St. George fire station to be built.  It is near the intersection of Hoo Shoo Too and Jefferson Hwy.  Funding for the construction of this station is provided through the 1.5 mill Capital Improvements levy approved by the voters in 2002.

Station 64 was put into service on July 11, 2006.  The formal dedication ceremonies were held on October 14, 2006 at 10AM.  The station is dedicated to the memory of former St. George Firefighter, Lt. Michael Scott Lamana, USN, who perished at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

The station houses a 1995 Freightliner/Ferrara 1500 GPM Pumper Engine and a 1991 GMC/Ferrara 1800 Gallon Tanker Truck.  The station is also the headquarters for one of the two District Chiefs on duty at all times.  For information about scheduling station tours or truck visits from this station call Eldon Ledoux at 454-6573 or email.  For a map showing the location of Station 64 click the following link: map.
