The St. George Fire Protection District covers a
suburban
area of approximately 72 square miles in East Baton Rouge Parish,
south of the city of Baton Rouge.
We hold a fire rating of Class
2.
We are home to an estimated population of over
92,000.
Our citizens reside in numerous established as
well as rapidly developing residential areas.
The District includes: The Baton Rouge
General Medical Center - Bluebonnet, The Louisiana State Archives,
The Mall of Louisiana, Shaw Plaza, Perkins Rowe, The Advocate, The Baton Rouge Mail Distribution
Center,
Jimmy Swaggart
Ministries, and many other growing enterprises.
